Health Plans

FMCNA offers our family of employees a choice of two national health plans networks, BlueCross BlueShield and United Health Care, as well as a number of HMO alternatives in many states.

Dental Plans

Our dedicated employees may choose between two dental plans, Aetna Dental HMO and Blue Cross Blue Shield Dental PPO, to help with routine and preventive dental care from a network of dentists.

Vision Plan

FMCNA offers United Specialty Benefits to our entire staff of devoted professionals, which provides access to a nationwide network of private-practice optometrists and ophthalmologists, as well as conveniently located retail chain providers.

Employee Assistance Plan

The EAP provides a variety of confidential counseling services at no cost through Guidance Resources to our employees when they need a helping hand, ranging from anxiety and stress, marital and family conflicts, to legal and financial planning assistance.

Paid Time Off/Vacation

We want all of our employees to have a personal life that is as rewarding as their professional life. Our PTO program offers employees flexibility in using paid time off for vacation, holiday and personal time. PTO days can also be reimbursed for cash for up to 80 hours per year. Employees who work at least 20 hours per week are eligible.

Extended Sick Leave (ESL)

In addition to PTO days, ESL is a benefit program that may provide for pay during extended absences should a member of our FMCNA family suffer from illness or injury.

Flexible Reimbursement

Employees have the freedom to choose from a number of different reimbursement accounts (such as Health Care Flexible Spending and Dependent Care Flexible Spending) to increase take-home pay through pre-tax savings for non-reimbursed medical/dental or dependent care expenses.

Life Insurance

All employees are eligible for basic life insurance; supplemental insurance may also be purchased.

Short-term Disability

In your time of greatest need, this employee-paid plan provides up to 60% of your salary should you be unable to work due to illness or injury. All employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible.

Long-term Disability

This benefit is 100% company paid and all employees working 30 or more hours per week receive coverage.

401(k)

FMCNA works with Fidelity Investments to help employees save for the future and achieve their dreams. Competitive vesting schedules and a company match are offered. The company matches 50 cents for each dollar you save up to the first 6% of your salary (3% additional) after one year of employment.

Tuition Reimbursement

We want to you continue to grow as a professional. Eligible employees may receive up to $4,400 per calendar year for approved tuition, registration, required books and laboratory fees.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The EAP provides a variety of confidential counseling services at no cost through ComPsych Guidance Resources to our employees in need, ranging from anxiety and stress, marital and family conflicts, and legal and financial planning assistance.

Discount Fitness Program

To perform your best for your patients, we want you to feel your best. The company’s partnership with GlobalFit offers employees in most locations great discounts on fitness memberships and home fitness equipment and is affiliated with Curves. Discounts are also available through Bally’s.

Weight Watchers will be reimbursed 100% for employees who complete the entire program.

Discount LASIK Eye Surgery

Employees and dependents may receive a savings of 40%-50% off the national average cost of LASIK eye surgery.
